Exchange of views on the development of bilateral relations, cooperation in the energy sector, regional security issues, including the development of cooperation with the EU took place at the meeting.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and satisfaction was expressed with the high level of bilateral relations during the meeting.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided information on the current situation in the region, issues related to the implementation of tripartite statements, on the reconstruction work carried out in the region and also shared Azerbaijan's views on the issue of normalizing relations with Armenia.
Azerbaijan is a reliable partner of the EU and plays an important role in the energy security of Europe, emphasized at the meeting.
The parties exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest, issues of regional and international security, including the situation in Ukraine.
